Straight answer

How much does a small business website cost?

Business Website Launch is $3,500. Custom Website Design is $7,500. Both include writing, responsive design, one inquiry path, testing and handoff. Hosting, software, usage and applicable tax are separate and approved before purchase.

You pay each fee in two halves: $1,750 or $3,750 at kickoff, and the rest only after you accept the finished launch. There is no required monthly plan.

What changes the price of any website

Every quote, ours included, comes down to how much work the site needs. These are the things that move the number.

  1. How many pages. Five pages that each say something different take more work than one long page.

  2. Who writes the words. Writing from an interview with you takes more time than pasting in text you already have.

  3. Original design or a template. A design made for your business costs more than an adapted template.

  4. Extra features. Online booking, a shop, member logins or more than one language each add work.

  5. Moving an old site. Carrying over old pages, or connecting other software, adds time.

  6. Running costs. Hosting, the domain name and any paid software are usually billed by other companies every month or year, on top of the build.

When you compare quotes, ask each company to put the same things in writing: the pages by name, who writes them, what gets tested, who owns the site and the accounts at the end, what you pay every month and when each payment is due. A low price that leaves out the writing or the testing is not the same job.

Not included in Custom Website Design

  • Hosting, software, licensed assets, applicable tax and any approved specialist services are disclosed separately.
  • A large migration, new brand identity, ecommerce, portal or custom application is a different project and is quoted before you commit.

How to check any quote yourself, for free

  • Ask for the price in writing, with every page listed by name.
  • Check that the domain name will be registered to you, not to the company building the site.
  • Look up the hosting company's or website builder's own price list, so you know the running cost before you commit.
  • Ask when each payment is due, and what gets fixed at no charge if something breaks after launch.
  • Compare what you are told with our full terms. They are public on each service page.

When you do not need us

If your current site already explains what you do, reads well on a phone and its contact form reaches you, you probably do not need a new website.

If people fill in your form but replies are slow or missed, the smaller fix is the $1,500 Inquiry Response Fix. It keeps your current site, sends each inquirer an immediate acknowledgement and alerts the person responsible for responding.

  • A clearer website can help existing visitors understand your business and take the next step.
  • It does not create demand by itself.
  • If the main problem is traffic, we will say so rather than sell a website as a lead-generation guarantee.

And if you only need one simple page and have the time, a website builder you set up yourself can be enough to start.
