What we collect when you contact us, and why.

Who we are

The Better Marketing Company (Better Marketing) is a marketing company serving businesses across the US. Our business address is 11484 Willow Gardens Dr, Windermere FL 34786.

What we collect

When you ask for a consultation or a proposal, we keep what you type into the form: your name, email address, website, your note and any optional answers. We also keep the time you agreed to be contacted and the exact consent sentence you agreed to.

When you take the Lead Leak Check and ask for your result, we keep your answers to its eight questions, the result they produced, your first name, your email address and your website if you give one.

• Where your visit started: the website that linked to us (its address without any query), the first page you opened on our site, and any campaign tags in that first link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content).
• A code made from your IP address and the date, used only to limit repeated form submissions. We do not store the IP address itself.
• Each page visit, counted on our own server: the page opened, the site or link that sent you, your country, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and a code made from your connection address and browser with a secret key and the date, so it changes every day. We do not store your address with it, and no cookies are used for this. To stop abuse, a separate code made from your connection address with the same secret key and the date limits how many visits one connection can record, and it is deleted within two days.
• A daily count of how many people start the Lead Leak Check, reach its last step and ask for their result. These counts hold no name, email address, IP address or cookie.
• A record of the emails we send you and whether our email provider accepted them for delivery.
• When you reply to one of our emails, the time of your reply. Your reply goes to our founders' inboxes; our website does not keep a copy of it.
• The replies our founders send you about your request, kept with your request so either founder can see what was said.

What we do not do

• No advertising trackers, no outside analytics companies and no third-party cookies. The full visit source above, and your Lead Leak Check answers while you take it, are kept in your browser tab until you send them, then stored with your request.
• We do not sell or rent your details.

Why we use it

To answer your request, arrange and prepare for your consultation, send a proposal you asked for, and keep a record of what we agreed.

To show you your Lead Leak Check result, email you a copy with a link back to it, and follow up about it by email if you agreed.

When you send the form, you agree that we may also send you follow-up emails about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any follow-up email. Unsubscribing stops all our automatic emails to your address. Your request stays open, so a founder can still answer it personally. Every email we send you includes our postal address.

Who handles it for us

• Cloudflare hosts this website and the database that stores requests, and keeps short-lived logs of requests to this site, which can include your connection address, for up to 7 days so we can fix problems.
• Resend delivers the emails we send you.
• Cloudflare Email Routing receives your replies to our emails and passes them to our founders' email inboxes.

How long we keep it

We keep a request, and everything stored with it, for 24 months after our last contact about it, then delete it. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we do it within 30 days.

Your choices

You can see your request, send us a note or close it from the request page linked in our confirmation email. Closing it withdraws that request and stops our emails about it. Unsubscribing stops our automatic emails to your address and leaves your request open. To ask us to correct or delete your details, reply to any of our emails, send a note from that page or write to us at the address above. Your Lead Leak Check result page works the same way: you can see your result, send us a note or stop emails about it.
